One of the questions I get asked most at my solo acoustic shows is, “Do you have any recordings that sound like what you do live?”

Until now, my answer has always been, “Not really.” My live show is just me with an acoustic guitar, harmonica, foot drums, and a handful of pedals — so my studio recordings have never fully captured that experience.

Over the past several months, I’ve been changing that. This winter and throughout the summer, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on my first live album. It features three brand-new, previously unreleased songs, a few of my favorite covers, and acoustic live versions of some of my older originals.

The album was produced by my longtime friend and collaborator, Curtis Leonard, and I couldn’t be more excited for you to hear it.

The album officially releases on November 28, and I’ll be performing at RockTales and Cocktails at CODA in Tremont that evening. See the poster and event details above.

I’m looking for one more musician to round out a new project. I’ve already got a drummer and bass player locked in. Now I’m looking for a violinist to join us. If you also play mandolin and can sing harmony or lead vocals, that’s a huge bonus — but the violin is the priority.

The music is rooted in Americana, with influences like John Mellencamp, Reckless Kelly, and Zach Bryan. We’ll be playing a mix of great covers, songs from my original catalog, and writing new material together.

This is a serious project with paid duo gigs available, paid full-band shows, and plans to spend the winter in the studio recording a new project.
